From what the quote says "Fight the economy, shop to save jobs" it somewhat invites customers to come and buy and buy with thinking that it will greatly help other people to have or save their jobs but the truth behind the quote is its just a mere strategy for them to sell out those items because those items from what i think is in their possession for a long time and they want to just clean up their inventory so they came up with this idea/strategy. Though it will benefit the customers because of the sale it doesn't mean that customers will also help other people to get or save jobs instead they are helping the store/company to clean up their inventory by buying these item that didn't attention when they first put it on there store. Overall this sales sign board is just a market strategy for the company.
